Q: What does living a conscious life mean to you?

A: Every single day we have the choice of how we want to feel, what we want to eat, who we want to spend our time on and with, etc. Conscious living means breathing in and out and making the best choice for ourselves and the lives around us. I want to better myself each day, to feel good through the good moments and through the uncomfortable moments, leaving room for growth.

Q: How do you create a sacred space at home and work? What inspires you?

A: I believe in organization, fresh air, light, and space. I surround myself with things I love: color, patterns, brightness, and open windows when possible. I love one-of-a-kind things, handmade things, and pieces that tell a story.

Q: How do you stay centered in the middle of chaos?

A: Cliché, but I breathe. Life is hectic, super hectic—sometimes I knowingly make my life more hectic than it needs to be, but I remember, even through the

hectic spots, that life is a journey and I’m growing through the mad times, that I’ll be stronger and better in the aftermath of it all, and I breathe.

Q: What is essential to nurturing your creativity or what drives your creativity?

A: I love to have inspiring people in my life. People who are also driven to create and excited to learn with each opportunity they get. Travel is another huge inspiration for my creativity. Every trip I take feels like a recharge to my creative energy. I come home feeling new and inspired.

Q: Tips for traveling?

A: An open mind will get you through anything. I like to plan the basics like where to sleep and transportation, but that's mostly it. Pack light and hit your journey—ready to explore whatever comes your way! I also sign up for multiple airline websites and apps to keep track of price alerts—making sure I can keep my flight tickets down to spend money elsewhere in my travel.
