Favorite Smoothie Ingredients

My smoothies are always packed with nutrient dense ingredients like bilberries and sea buckthorns. Avocado, fresh ginger and chili are my all time favorites in green smoothies. Green powder mixes are super handy and easy to use in a hurry. I could not live without lucuma, baobab or maca powder. Not only because they are super healthy but they taste amazing! Im totally addicted to superfood powders. They also give great texture!

Underused Ingredients

Everyone should become more familiar with ancient grains like teff, millet, spelt, quinoa, chia and amaranth. Each grain has its unique taste which helps you create new dishes with a fuller flavor spectrum that you are commonly used to. They are also great for upgrading traditional dishes into today’s demands. New flavors with more nutrients in everyday food is definitely something we all appreciate. Ancient grains do good for all of us, not just for people on gluten-free diet.


Chia Pudding Ingredients

1 cup plant-based yoghurt

½ cup coconut milk

¼ cup chia seeds

¼ tsp vanilla bean powder

1-2 tbsp maple syrup

Mix all and let set for at least 1 hour.

Ingredients for Smoothie

1 ½ cup raspberries

1 tbsp acai powder

1 tbsp baobab powder

1 tbsp beet powder

2 scoops plant-based protein powder

Add the smoothie to thickened pudding. For ombre layers add a bit more smoothie on each layer.
