• Radical Loving Selfcare

Taking care of my spirit means taking care of mind, body and soul. I find that all three must be nurtured to feel balanced. I take time every day to disconnect from technology and allow myself to read and think. Being active and also getting a good night’s sleep are absolutely essential!

• Lesson Learned

It’s never too late to pursue your passion! If you really want to learn a new skill or get better at something you like to do but you don’t have the money or time to go back to school, search the Internet! Three years ago I didn’t know how to take a photo on a DSLR camera or edit an image in Photoshop. I turned to YouTube for tutorials and practiced as often as I could. Now I have my own visual content creation business. If you love it, make time for it; I promise it will pay off.

• Creative Idea I Love

Right now one of my favorite things is turning trash into treasure. I love to transform empty containers, fallen leaves, used straws, etc., and make them into beautiful art. All it takes is a little time and imagination.

• Favorite Author

I LOVE Marisha Pessl. I am currently re-reading her book Night Film. It’s just so engrossing; I can’t get enough.

• Crazy About HandPoured Candles

There is a great shop in the neigh - boring town of Creemore called Heirloom 142, and I stock up on their intoxicating hand-poured candles every winter. I’m currently in love with a rose and patchouli blend.
