Patience. This took me a while to master when it came to buying pieces for my home. I always wanted to rush and get things done and in the end I was never happy with my space. Taking my time and finding pieces that I truly love has made all the difference.
Proudest DIY Moment
I would probably have to go with my plant stand and I think my plants agree. Don’t underestimate yourself even if you mess up it’s all a learning experience.
Top Tips For Healthy Workflow
Take time for yourself mentally and physically. If you are in a good healthy place with yourself everything else will be so much easier. This is something I’m constantly struggling with and working on myself.

Hide Those Cords!
Clean and simple! My favorite design idea is my plugs behind our mounted tv and mounting the cable box behind the tv for no cords. Without fail I will always get asked about it when I show any of my TVs. It’s makes everything look so clean and organized.
Working From Home
I work from home so I need everything clean and organized it makes it easier to focus on designing new pieces for our shop. Otherwise I’m distracted and feel overwhelmed. Bright open spaces are also a must. It keeps me happy and motivated. Dark atmospheres easily make me want to hibernate.
Shipping is Expensive + Time Consuming
Shipping! Man when we started designing and making signs for our shop White Wood and Company and selling them on Etsy I never knew how much time would go into packaging and shipping. Amazon and every other large company has brainwashed us all into thinking shipping should always be free but it’s sadly not doable for small shop.
